And We're Back! | Factory Update

We are very pleased and proud to announce that our factory has met all of the requirements and ongoing protocol imposed by the Chinese Government regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus. We are very happy to notify you that our employees are officially returning to work.

  We expect about 80% of employees back at their work stations by Wednesday of this week, and nearly all of the remainder by the end of this week as they travel from further distances.   We anticipate the first containers shipping from our factory during the week of February 24th. As far as we know, our factory is the first among other manufacturers to be back and able to ship containers in this time frame.  

Please Note:

1. With the normal delay caused by the Chinese New Year and the slightly longer delay caused by travel bans because of the coronavirus, lead times will be extended somewhat. Please be patient. All orders will be produced on a first come, first produced basis beginning with those orders placed after the cutoff deadlines for the Chinese New Year. Although the workload is large, be assured that our factory intends to add additional shifts and additional hours each week until we are back to our normal delivery commitment.
2. Please note the information below regarding the spread of the coronavirus as it pertains to packages or products shipped from China, as published by the U.S. CDC:Q: Am I at risk for COVID-19 from a package or products shipped from China? A: In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient temperatures. Coronaviruses are generally thought to spread most often by respiratory droplets. Currently there is no evidence to support transmission of COVID-19 associated with imported goods and there have not been any cases of COVID-19 in the United States associated with imported goods.
